1. Are the ASTD-STADA programs academic or practice based?
The programs are built on ASTD competency study and tested curriculum. The training is practice-oriented, and it is the fastest, most effective way to get the knowledge and skills participants need to succeed. For programs details, please click here.
We will provide training materials, templates, tools, process models and role play opportunities including practical examples to promote your thorough understanding of the program.

2. How are these programs different?
The designs of these programs are based on ASTD’s well-researched competency studies to maximize their relevance to every industry and business environment. Each program is knowledge and performance-based, providing participants with the opportunity for immediate application back at the workplace.

3. Am I qualified to participate in the programs?
The programs are suitable for anyone who is involved, or will be involved, in workplace learning and performance in an organization.

5. How will I benefit from the programs?
You will be trained on cutting-edge human capital development knowledge and practices can help you to be a competent T-Shape professional. You will be more effective in the workplace, gain more respect and credibility, improve your career potential as well as let you stand out in the crowd.

6. Will I receive a certificate after the program ?
Yes. Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion jointly awarded by the ASTD and STADA, upon successful completion of the workshop.

7. What is next after the programs?
Upon completing any of the programs, the participants can join a community of practice (COP) based on their domain of interest. This will allow them to stay up-to-date in the area of interest. The aim of the community is to establish a common gathering where there is a meeting of the Hearts, a meeting of the Minds, and a meeting of the Business Needs. This focus should enable professionals to receive current information, gain continuous professional growth and be empowered to provide solutions to organization.

8. How to register for the programs?
You may register for any of the programs by downloading and filling in the Registration Form, then emailing the completed form to foongyee@stada.org.sg. The registration will be confirmed upon receipt of your payment. In addition, a confirmation letter of your registration detailing the administrative information will be emailed to you two weeks before the commencement of the program.

9. Is financial aid available?
Yes. If you are a corporate-sponsored employee, you may apply for Skills Development Fund (SDF). The grant is subject to SDF approval. For more information, please visit www.sdf.gov.sg

11. What is your refund policy?
A refund less 10% administrative charge will be made for cancellations received in writing (by fax or email) not later than 10 days before course commencement.
No refund can be made for cancellations received later than 10 days before course commencement, or for non-attendance of the registered program.
However, you may send a replacement should you need to withdraw from the program in order to avoid any penalty.
